The kind of tests the company put the boots through they seemed to be water proof.
It is a sheepskin boot. The inside is warm and cozy and the exterior is water resistant suede like leather. Even after tests with water the leather didn’t dry or crack. The shape kept. The color deepened but in a happy way. Sheepskin being a natural insulator keeps the moisture out and minimizes the smelly feet problem. The water repellant chemicals are not sprayed on at the end of the process but added through the tanning process.
