Esquire Magazine has been taking up a house every year and turning it into a design showcase since 2003. They remodel the property into what they call their “Ultimate Bachelor Pad” and use the property before selling it to host some of the season’s biggest charity and celebrity events resulting in a lot of terrific exposure to the house.
This year they have taken up a property located in the Doheny Estates in the storied Hollywood Hills. The 9,000 sq feet house was completely rebuilt from the ground up and newly outfitted by top designers. The family home was completely transformed into a contemporary indoor-outdoor lifestyle property for Esquire under the watchful design eye of Elaine Culotti of Porta Bella.
The house has 11 bedrooms, 9 bathrooms, an infinity pool, two-story pool house, hot tub and gym. The house has been fitted with a lot of state of the art gadgets and equipment like a music studio, flight simulator and a video wall. The new Esquire House will have its grand opening on October 15 with a benefit for the International Medical Corps. There are other fundraisers already lined up for the new hose including OXFAM, City of Hope and Oceana. All events are by invitation only.
