Classic Condo in Ritz-Carlton Residences, San Francisco Heading for Auction

A premium property in San Francisco will be auctioned on December. Concierge Auction is conducting the auction for a luxury condo. It is a bank owned condominium, located at the luxurious Ritz-Carlton Residences on Market Street in the heart of downtown San Francisco. It is a two bedroom unit and had been listed earlier for $1,274,490 but apparently could not find a buyer at the price. Now for the auction there is no minimum bid required to participate.

Listing broker Jeffry Peargin of Pacific Union International, which an affiliate of Christie’s Great Estates is cooperating in conducting the sale. The total area of the unit on sale is 1,195 square feet. It is a classic condo with two master suites and two and a half bathrooms. It has an open kitchen with Kohler fixtures, granite countertops, a Viking refrigerator and Miele dishwasher. Each bathroom also has Kohler fixtures, and the laundry closet is outfitted with a GE washer and dryer.

The building was constructed as the original Chronicle Building over a century ago and touted as the first skyscraper of the west coast. Designed by Chicago architects it is now home to 101 individual residences and offers several luxury amenities.
