French designer Pierre Stephane Dumas seems to have the answer as he has created a range of portable transparent huts, offering a quiet space to retreat to. He calls these plastic huts the Bubble collection. He has created an entire range of these bubbles called the BubbleTree, CristalBubble, BubbleLodge and BubbleRoom. The purpose of these bubbles is to provide a unit to spend a night in without disturbing the natural surroundings.
The idea behind these shelters was to offer an unusual experience under the stars with the comfort of your bedroom. These shelters not only give you the impression of being amongst the nature but also have a silencing acoustic effect. Its unique design and geometry reduces the noise coming from outside. The noise coming from inside echo towards the sphere’s hub driving the people to speak as quietly as possible. This is truly a unique experience that no hotel or resort can replicate even those dealing in luxury travel and luxury camping.
The best thing about the Bubble is that it is very easy to install. The shape of the bubble is maintained by using a blower that creates soft pressure against the walls. The Bubble also features an air renewal system. The air pressure inside is such that it keeps moisture to minimum levels and lets in a flow of fresh air. The bigger Bubbles can accommodate a king size bed and still have some spare space for personal belongings. The bubbles made of reinforced, anti-fire and ultraviolet-protective plastic are 13 feet in diameter. The bubble comes with wooden floor, a portable blower with filter, a protective cover and a transport bag. The prices start at $10,987.
