Yale’s Skull & Bones Soc Has Items On Sale At Christie’s

The goth fans can look forward to January 22 as Christie’s most awaited auction kick starts the new year. There will be an 1872 Skull ballot box on display. And we hear that’s not that for a lot more of the secret world will be also up for sale. Basically everything that Yale University’s mysterious Skull and Bones society ever created will be here – strange rites, sexual confessions and thingamajigs.

Back to the Skull ballot box. This one comes fitted with a hinged flap and has charred looking crossbones. This one is believed to have been usd during voting at the famous society’s meetings.

The mysterious Skull and Bones society was founded back in 182 and this one is a very closely guarded secret indeed. In fact, very few (excluding us, of course) know the names of the members and the nature of their activities. But we do know that both Bush presidents and John Kerry have been participants with this body. The auction will also see a black book with names and pics of the previous members. This one could sell anywhere between $10,000 and $20,000.
