I have reason as the plane recently got featured at the Dubai Air Show 2007. Well, this reason may not sound enough to make it the highlight of the day.
If I say the Ferrari-branded P180 Avanti II has been tagged as the world’s fastest turboprop private aircraft than would that justify its talk at such length. With 450mph maximum speed, the plane offers a 1,800-mile range and 41,000-foot cruising altitude that may not be exceptional to other private jets but its USP catches all eyeballs as it consumes 30% less fuel. Jesus Diaz from Gizmodo was fortunate to capture a video of the cockpit that is eye-catching.
