China is definitely moving ahead that too with a fast pace. Surprisingly, this post is not about the number two position of the Chinese economy in the world. In fact, it’s about chocolate. Yep, you heard it right. The world is witnessing the largest chocolate wonderland in Beijing. It consists of 500 life-size figures and includes chocolate shoes, clothes and even a life-sized BMW 1-series car.
From what we hear, it took 10 craftsmen to shape some four tonns of chocolate over a period of six months to take the car. Yeah, we were quite taken up by the structure and so came across this interesting bit of information.
The organisers of the World Chocolate Wonderland are quite hopeful that it will help improve the chocolate market in China. News is that it is not as popular there as it is in the Western countries. The delicious exhibition extends over 20,000 square metre. The entire area has been kept temperature controlled to keep the elaborate replicas from melting. Some one million visitors are expected to visit before the event closes in April.
