The Ritz Carlton, Hong Kong is creating a distinct place for itself amongst the top luxury hotels in the city. They are not resting on the laurels of being the world’s highest hotel location. They have introduced a new and innovative concept from March 7. Called the Vinossuer, it is a wine club concept that has been created to attract the wine connoisseurs to this club which will act as a forum to share their passion for the beverage and slowly grow into a knowledge sharing platform.
Vinossuer at the Ritz Carlton Hong Kong will host special wine tasting sessions and related events every 1st Wednesday of the month. The event might move from one prize winning restaurant in the hotel to the next. The first such event has been planned at the Tosca restaurant. The wine appreciation event will be based on the theme of ‘North Vs South Italy’ wines. The patrons will get to taste the finest wines from both regions and share their views over a 6-course degustation dinner. Executive Chef Vittorio Lucariello is preparing a special menu for the occasion and he will be at hand to personally guide the guests on how to best enjoy the experience.
Roberto Garrone sommelier and Associate F&B director commented that the concept creates a great opportunity for wine aficionados to meet and socialize. Many secrets about the vintage and flavoring will be shared with the patrons. Many of the leading wine houses with most expensive wines are partnering the hotel for this event and will be showcasing a wide variety of fine wines at every event. A fee of $346 will be charged from guests as annual membership of the club. The exclusive membership will entitle them to discounts on dinners and various other events.
