Vince Clarke Home up for $3.1 million

An exceptional home of English pop musician Vince Clarke, founding member of Depeche Mode, Yaz and Erasure, is up for sale, holding a price tag of £2 million, which is $3.1 million to be precise. The innovative piece of an estate is located in Surrey, England, 20 miles west of Central London. It is close to Virginia Water, Chertsey and Staines. Trains run from nearby Chertsey into London Waterloo. The place is also flanked by golf courses.

Architect John Newton designed the 5.6 acre home. Comfort and practical modern living find a new dimension in the architect’s vision through this estate. A lot of natural layout, circular floor layout, spiral glass staircases, central heating system, air-conditioning and a recording studio are just a part of the deal besides an indoor pool. Its kitchen has good quality units within, marble flooring and overlooks the indoor pool. A driveway takes you into the house through the estate, and at the head of the drive is where Clarke’s recording studio exists in a copper roofed building.

The studio may be converted into a gym, or anything else to suit the buyer’s choice. Clarke got it built in the year 1990 and says he is selling it because he lives with his wife and son at Maine.
