Abu Dhabi is hosting the World Luxury Expo 2013 at the Emirates Palace from September 27 to 29, 2013. Abu Dhabi is positioning itself as one of the luxury retail capitals of the world and aggressively taking initiative to project itself as a strategic and important market for luxury goods and services. The numbers and the trends are in their favor as Knight Frank’s Wealth Report 2013 reveals that the number of high net worth individuals with fortunes of over $30 million is already significant and is set to rise by 53% over the next decade. World’s leading luxury brands are expected to participate with their most exclusive offerings.
By-invitation Only Event Brings Diverse Categories of Luxury Under One Roof
The first event of the World Luxury Expo series this year was held at Burj Al Arab, Dubai in January this year followed by one in February at the palatial Ritz-Carlton, Riyadh. There has been a reasonable gap since the last event and the high-net worth private clientele from across the GCC region must be looking forward to the by-invitation only event. It is a unique event of its kind as it brings a broad selection of luxury categories under one roof. Where else can you see the fine art, high-end jewelry and fashion, hand-crafted time pieces, designer furniture and exquisite table settings, automobiles, fine dining, private aviation, and luxury travel suppliers at one place?
The Event Will Continue Travelling in the GCC Region
Porsche Dubai will be showcasing Porsche’s first ever Panamera Executive model. Moiseikin Jewellery has put together an ‘Imperial Collection’ for the event. Gold & Co. London is scheduled to bring its 24-carat, gold-plated bronze, pure bred Arabian Stallion created by Don Alberto Carlos. B5 Art of Living LLC is expected to bring their biophysical medicine, the Human Regenerator. House of Sillage, Rebellion, Cornelio Cappellini, Giorgio Collection, Marie Josée, Giarletta Rosmundo and Al Barari are some of the prominent participants in the event. The World Luxury Expo will keep traveling in the GCC region. It will move to Doha from November 14-16, 2013. Its next stop will be Kuwait before returning to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 2014.
