The Royal Crown River Cruise Is High On Luxury

Even as you prepare your take on why you should win The Luxury Channel and Quintessentially Travel’s Ultimate Honeymoon Competition 2011, look at the new luxury river cruiser from eWaterways. Starting April 2011, eWaterways will begin a new river cruise service that will explore some of Europe’s historic cities via the river route. To achieve this, eWaterways has acquired a new five-star luxury yacht named Royal Crown. The Royal Crown will carry travelers through Prague, Vienna and Budapest via historic rivers like the Rhine and the Danube and the less-famous but equally beautiful Mosel.

Among the available itineraries is the Dutch Golden Age Journey. The luxury river yacht’s private sloop, the Royal Crown II, will carry travelers to see the quainter, more historic side of Amsterdam, with its many canals and 17th-century gabled town houses. The cruise will then move to the Ijsselmeer river and gape at the beautiful port towns of Hoorn, Enkhuizen and Volendam. For a longer sailing trip, try the two-week Grand Europe Journey, which takes the Roman route through Budapest, Vienna, Bratislava and Bavaria.

There is a great deal for solo tourists through 2011 – Royal Crown will not be charging them any single supplement. The “Orient Express on Water” boasts of Art Deco design and can house up to 88 guests. Guests have access to well-stocked mini bars, a butler service, plus a deluxe spa, a golf area, a fitness room and a 24-hour business lounge. If you want to live it up in 1930s style, this five-star luxury cruise is a great bet.
