The Centrol Stile Ferretti Group is teaming up with Italiana Design and Advanced Yacht Technology to create a new luxury yacht – the Riva 63-foot Virtus. In the past, we have seen other luxury yachts that reach length of 63 feet. But the Riva 63-foot Virtus stands a class apart because of the greater degree of open space. This Mediterranean-style super yacht is a step forward from luxury yachts like the 63-foot Vertigo and the Rivale. The Virtus is ideal for entertaining smaller, more intimate groups. The cockpit is large enough to house three sofas, a refrigerator and a concealed grill. Plus, the three sundecks offer ample space for sunbathing and relaxing. This entire open area can be covered using a hydraulic mechanism.
The interiors of this luxury yacht are effectively designed to make the optimum use of space. The master and guest cabins are located on the bow. However, the master cabin is built at a slightly lower level to increase the spaciousness. The cabins have large, arrow-shaped windows. Plus, the wooden table in the salon is large enough for six adults.
The Riva 63-foot Virtus has a hull with a built-in tunnel propulsion. This makes handling the luxury yacht easier. Equipped with two 1360mhp MAN 12V engines, the Riva 63-foot Virtus cruises at speeds of 35 knots and manages a top speed of 40 knots. Ferretti Group chairman Norberto Ferretti described the Riva as an extraordinary brand that has held its own over 160 years. He said that the strong and elegant Riva 63-foot Virtus “is the perfect addition to the Riva range”.
