The Rezidor Hotel Group and Al Jassim Group Announce Hotel Missoni Doha

The Rezidor Hotel Group has joined hands with the Al Jassim Group to announce Hotel Missoni Doha. The hotel will be designed by Rosita Missoni. The proposed hotel will feature about 200 rooms and suites and 70 service apartments. Doha, the capital of Qatar is a rising market and benefits from very healthy economic conditions. The unique luxury lifestyle hotel is scheduled to welcome the first guests in late 2015. Kurt Ritter, President & CEO of Rezidor feels that the hotel will be a perfect addition to Doha which will be the centre of international attention when it hosts the FIFA World Cup in the year 2022.

Qatar already boasts of strong gas, service, real estate and medical industries and is fast becoming an important corporate and meetings destination in the Gulf. There is a growing demand for luxury accommodations from the visitors to the country. Sheikh Khalid Bin Jassim Al Thani, CEO of Al Jassim Group feels inspired by Qatar Nation Vision 2030 and believes that Hotel Missoni will be their contribution in the efforts to transform Doha into one of the world’s leading business, sport and cultural cities.

The site chosen for Hotel Missoni is situated on the C Ring Road in the heart of Doha. The location is just ten minutes away from the international airport and the West Bay area. It is the perfect location for all entertainment and leisure activities offered in Doha and the surrounding areas. The new hotel will also add to the food and beverages scenario of the city. Cucina, the signature restaurant of Hotel Missoni will offer a traditional yet creative Italian menu. Bar Missoni will be a pool bar and a lobby lounge. There will be other fine dining restaurants based on the stylish essence of the Hotel Missoni brand.
