Animal lovers would love this piece of information. Decently famous adventure travel company Terra Incognita Ecotours has come up with some great plans for the adventurer in you. The latest travel plan reveals a once-in-a lifetime journey to none other than the wilderness of Rwanda, which, you would know houses the endangered mountain gorilla.
Terra Incognita Ecotours has always been associated with wildlife-focused tours and this time around, it does something more by supporting the cause of the Mountain Gorilla Veterinary Project.
It is going to be a 10-day trip that will take travelers to the famous Virunga Volcanoes in Rwanda. You get two opportunities to track the mountain gorillas. Not just that, the itinerary will also include visiting the grave of famous primatologist Dian Fossey. A meeting with veterinarian Dr. Mike Cranfield is also on the cards. Let us remind you that Rwanda’s wilderness is teeming with an impressive variety of birds, elephants, hippos, giraffe, spotted hyena, buffaloes and crocodiles. Trust us; you will love the Akagera National Park and the stay at the Virunga Lodge. There are three tours available from end of November that go on to early 2011. The travel cost per person is going to be $6,649 excluding international airfare.
