Tag Heur Eyewear line has a new entrant called the Squadra Night Vision optics. Though the description of this new range includes a lot of mumbo jumbo like “ophthalmic mask†and “universal nocturnal myopiaâ€, all you need to know is that these glasses have been made in a way so as to increase the contrast at night time. In this case, the glasses will do most of the lifting work and not the rods. The cones they say will reduce the eye fatigue and increase your ability to see clearly even after dusk.
The eyewear has a one piece lens that has a frame of titanium, elastomer and soft rubber. This combination of materials make sure that the frame if strong enough to hold your head but is also flexible enough to fit under a helmet. The Audi drivers who were winners of Le Mans this year were wearing this eyewear and will surely attest to its comfort. The Squadra Night Vision optics come in two shapes and will be available for $450.
Tag Heur has also released shades for non biking purposes. They are Zenith Rimless Curve, Zenith Rimless Curve Glamour and Squadra, and they will retail for $330 to $350.
