Swarovski Crystal Christmas Tree in Hong Kong Dazzles at Night

Hong Kong seems to be engulfed in the Christmas spirit. It is a novelty for a large number of tourists coming from mainland China. And this increasing number of affluent shoppers have made the luxury brands hyper active to cash in on the festive season. Swarovski is also celebrating the festive season in a grand style by creating a 30 meter high outdoor Crystal Christmas tree at Statue Square in Central Hong Kong.

The props created by several malls in Hong Kong have become more extravagant over the years but Swarovski has raised the bar very high, well 30 meters to be precise, this year. The Hong Kong landscape is dominated by skyscrapers and tall buildings with glass fronts and windows. It is perhaps this urban effervescence that has inspired the design of this dazzling Christmas tree.

The Swarovski Crystal Christmas Tree in Hong Kong is also as high as a ten storied building. Rhombus shaped mirrors in silver and gold make up the body of the tree. They remind you of the ornamental window panes of yore. Almost 20 million pieces if Swarovski crystals have been used to embellish the 30 meter high tree. The interactive lights make the Swarovski Crystal Christmas Tree dazzle at night.
