Supper Clubs of Yesteryears Make a Comeback at Ritz Carlton, Palm Beach

Decades ago, Supper Clubs were a way of life. People got dressed especially for dinner, the tables set with the best silver and linens. The Ritz Carlton, Palm Beach is harking back to this age of refinery and elegance by bringing back the concept of Supper Clubs. They will be reinstating this concept at their re-opened restaurant, Angle. It used to be an American supper-club featuring classic appetizers, cocktail shaker libations, drought beers and award winning wine wall.

This place also uses locally grown ingredients and seasonal South Florida specialities. The list of delicacies is mouth watering and include dishes such as Florida Stone Crabs, Taylor Bay Scallops with Corn Puree and Pomegranate, Celeriac Soup with Raisins and Peanut Marshmallow, and Five Color Hydroponic Baby Beets with Endive, Baby Fennel and Clementines.

From the entree you can pick out Gulf Coast Red Snapper with Heart of Palm and Vanilla Vinaigrette, Braised Short Ribs and Prime Natural New York 28 Day, Dry Aged Steak, and Nature Farm Veal Chop with a Natural Veal Reduction among others. The interiors have been made to resemble the Supper Clubs of yesteryears. Guests can also sit at the Chef’s favorite Onyx Tasting table, an underlit onyx and amber table featuring the Far Niente Experience with wines and chef’s plates coming in for the guests to savour.
