Stuart Hughes Creates Bang & Olufsen Serenata Diamond Edition

Stuart Hughes has garnered a lot of fame for decking up cell phones and other tech gadgets with gold and diamonds. This time he brought his bling wonder to Bang & Olufsen Serenata and converted into a jeweled music phone.

This Bang & Olufsen Serenata Diamond Edition has diamonds laced along the circumference of its main gold scroll mechanism. As much as 16.25 carat diamonds and 140 gms of solid 24 carat gold was used in making of this glittering beauty. This handset will be running a limited number of only 10 units so make sure you get yours before anybody else does. It is available for a price of £44,995 i.e. $69,300.

The Bang & Olufsen Serenata music phone was a joint venture between Samsung and Bang & Olufsen, and was hand crafted by David Lewis, the designer at Bang & Olufsen. The phone was aimed at the privileged masses and touted to be a chic combination of a music player and a phone. No wonder Stuart Hughes brought it to its Liverpool lab and doled out yet another souvenir-like gold version of it.
