Legendary actor Steve McQueen is worshipped even today by his fans, and he is known for his rugged character roles, and all the cowboy movies he acted in. His sporty 1953 Siata 208S Spyder is one of the only 35 built, and is now being listed for sale. California’s Fantasy Junction is demanding a price of $1.295 and that is quite expensive, if you asked me for an ageing car like this, which does not look all that great.
Steve McQueen was known for his collection of cars and there is even a book about all the cars that he owned, and the cars that saw the dark of his garage included Ferrari, Porsche and Jaguar supercars. This beauty here was exhibited at the Cars of Steve McQueen exhibition at The Petersen Auto Museum in Los Angeles.
The car runs on a 2.3 Litre 8-cylinder Fiat engine and also has the much coveted and rare Heuer racing instruments. The car has won several accolades for being elegant and if Steve McQueen were alive today, he sure would have been really proud of his taste in cars. If you have $1.295 million, do go ahead and get this lovely car.
