Porsche goes underwater with its Diving Watch: P’6780

Porsche is a name which has been synonymous with excellence in car design. Now they take their designing skills from land into the water, quite literally! P’6780 is the name of the diving watch brought out by the prestigious Porsche Design. This masterpiece is capable of reaching great depths of up to 1,000 meters which is equivalent to an astounding 3,280 feet!

Set in a stainless steel case, the watch is fitted with a titanium bracket fastened to the rubber wrist strap, making it shock proof. This feature also prevents the crown from accidentally re-setting.

It was 25 years ago that the company founder, Prof. F.A. Porsche himself had come up with a divers watch, christened Ocean 2000. That was way back in 1983. Renewing their venture into the diver watch genre, their latest innovation, the P’6780 is an improved and rugged follow-up of the original.

Considering the amazing past record of its creators, this new watch is surely going to be top notch in terms of style and performance. People will be able to lay their hands on this brilliant timepiece in Porsche’s own stores and exclusive retail outlets all over the world.
