The name Simon Cowell has already gone down the history of showbiz what with him being perhaps the only one to become famous because of being a professional crankypants. As they say, ‘love him, hate him but can’t ignore him’. Ladies and gentleman, this is the American Idol judge who we love to hate so much. But now is the time to feel sorry for him as he faces trouble with his Barbados dream home.
According to the li’l birdie that we love to call Daily Mail, Cowell has spent £15 million for his luxury home but has not really been able to move in yet. The house in question was supposed to be finished in 2008 but now the official finishing date has moved to 2011. Currently, there are no signs of work at the Four Seasons compound at Blakc Rock. This area also includes plots owend by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Formula One boss Eddie Jordan.
As of now, Cowell is spending his time on a £625,000-a-week super-yacht cruising round Barbados, Grenada and Antigua and St Barts. Though he has all the luxury around him, but we have a sneaky feeling that someone wants to be home alone, the Barbados one in this instance.
