To make it synonymous with the gleam and the richness of a shooting star, it has been named as ‘Shooting Star’ and one has to agree that she does justice to her name. This 121 foot yacht has an uber glamorous feel to it, if you go for a ride on this you would not feel anything less than riding on a shooting star. Danish Yachts are famous for creating such marvelous yachts, but the only thing that makes them different from others is their ability to cater to the glamorous whims of their customers.
This latest creation by Danish Yachts comes with a durable and strong carbon fiber hull which is beautifully streamlined to augment the stunning looks of the yacht. Shooting star also offers a thrilling experience for speed lovers as it is equipped with two sturdy 4,750 hp diesel MTU engines and can go up to a speed of 45 knots. The sleek edges on the exterior are designed by a Norwegian naval architecture firm called Espen Øino International and are intentionally made different from the conventional type to reflect more light. The interiors are designed in subtle colors to give a rich Scandinavian look to it, the Danish design company, Art-Line, that took charge of its interiors made sure that the interiors jibe with the taste of the cognoscenti from anywhere around the world.
This yacht can accommodate up to 10 guests at a time, and is up for grabs at Monaco’s YCO for a whooping $26 million. A ride on it to an idyllic getaway with close friends or a ‘close friend’ with champagne and strawberries is completely worth its price!
