Samsung Releases Samsung Galaxy Tab Luxury Edition for the Discerning Consumer

Samsung, like any other company dealing in digital technology, is always striving the products they are offering. The Samsung Galaxy Tab is a very successful product that had hit the one million mark in number of units sold as of last month. By any yard stick that is a success story but the company has now come up with a luxury version. By virtue of being the luxury version it naturally has some add-ons to differentiate it from the regular models.

Predictably, the new tablet is called Samsung Galaxy Tab Luxury Edition. The luxury tablet was unveiled by Samsung at the Millionaire Fair held in Amsterdam. The Luxury Edition is not different from the regular version of the Tab, so it comes with Android 2.2, 7 inch, 600 x 1024 pixels display, HSDPA, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, two cameras, and a 1GHz processor.

The new edition of the tab however comes in a leather case and a Bluetooth headset. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Luxury Edition will be available for retail starting December 15 for €749 – that’s about $990. To maintain its exclusivity the numbers available have not been limited but it will be available only until January 31 next year.
