To utilize the most out of home theater space, a Tennessee family has lately installed a revolutionary floor that swivels the obverse seats 180 degrees to visage the second row, thereby offering a more natural setting for recreation.
This 16-foot revolving spherical floor is power-driven by four motors and restricted via remote. The theater door is also monitored by remote and can be folded from the floor in 12 sections plus looks like a Chinese hand fan. The inclined walls at this space provide some acutely reverberant acoustics. Visual impression also presents absorptive fiberglass acoustical panels that look like ornamental elements when hung upon side walls. It enables monitoring of sound from the 7.1-channel audio system power-driven by a Marantz SR8500 receiver pumping 125 watts to Atlantic Technology 4200 series speakers. All the illumination, including LEDs (light-emitting diodes) adjoining the spinning floor, on the maximum and beneath the staircase is monitored by a Lutron system.
The erection of this theater was done as an initiative to build a home during a Parade of Homes showcase, offering them a surprising ride. Above all, the 35-foot entrance hall to the theater presents a starfield—residing in the carpet and not in the ceiling.
