Rolls Royce Celebrates 100 Years Of Spirit of Ecstasy With 100 Rolls Royce Cars Exhibition


One of the foremost names in luxury automobiles, Rolls Royce, a name that has been associated with royalty and exclusivity for a long time recently marked the 100th anniversary of the company’s Spirit of Ecstasy.  This magnificent occasion was marked with a one of a kind parade of some one hundred Rolls Royce vehicles that was constituted of these famed luxury cars from all eras. Ranging from the Rolls Royce Phantom to Rolls Royce Ghost series of luxury cars, this unique gathering witnessed the participation of vehicles from the most vintage of years to the most recent models of the Phantom. This breathtaking display of luxury and remarkable engineering was conducted at Rolls Royce’s manufacturing office in Goodwood, West Sussex. The entirely exclusive gathering was organized by the Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts’ Club and the event was attended by VIPs, media representatives etc. The centenary celebrations of Spirit of Ecstasy entailed comprehensive seminars on the production of the Spirit of Ecstasy and Bespoke Design, which also featured an photo-exhibition from celebrated photographer Rankin.

Furthermore, the centennial celebrations provided the 500 or so attendees with a rare opportunity of personal tours of the manufacturing plant as well as a splendid Grand Picnic Lunch and English Afternoon Tea. However, the highlight of this remarkable event was the concluding parade at the event which showcased some 100 Rolls Royce car spanning numerous generations. This majestic parade was led by a new Phantom Drophead Coupé and the event was conducted at the Goodwood Motor Circuit. After the initial parade at the circuit, the vehicles then moved on to Concours d’Elegance at the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu.

We were delighted to welcome our guests, and particularly our friends from the Rolls‑Royce Enthusiasts’ Club and their magnificent motor cars, to the Home of Rolls‑Royce for our historic celebratory day.”
