Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company Announces First Reserve Property in the Americas in Dorado Beach

The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, L.L.C. has made an important announcement and are set to launch the first Reserve property in the Americas in Dorado Beach, Puerto Rico. It is just the second in their most exclusive portfolio worldwide after Phulay Bay in Krabi, Southern Thailand. It is going to be the grand return of Dorado Beach – one of the Caribbean’s most celebrated destinations. The press release by Ritz Carlton confirmed that the exquisite Ritz-Carlton Reserve, a 115-key oceanfront hotel and residences, will be the centerpiece of the renovation of the Dorado Beach Resort set to open in December 2012.

This property is ideally situated on three-and-a-half miles of Caribbean coastline with 1,400 acres of natural beauty, privacy and luxury. The Reserve will feature 100 guest rooms and 14 one bedroom suites. Each one of them will be directly on the beach. Su Casa is not just renovated but restored to its original 1920s style and serve as a five bedroom beachfront VIP villa. The Dorado Beach will also feature a five acre botanical spa, a Beach club and eco adventure experiences at the Wind and Waves centre.

In addition to the above, the developers of the Dorado Beach Resort are also creating West Beach and East Beach, the first Ritz-Carlton Reserve branded Residences. The first batch of 13 condominiums at West Beach is already sold out and under construction. 14 additional West Beach units are planned and there will be a total of 18 villas and townhouses at East Beach. They are open for reservations and bookings. Herve Humler, president and chief operations officer, The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, believes that it is the perfect setting for the first Reserve experience in the Americas
