Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi To Open By Year-End

The Ritz-Carlton is known for its beautiful properties. Its luxury hotel in New York has an incredible view of New York City. Its latest property in Hong Kong is set between the 102nd and 118th floors. And now, the hotel giant has announced its plans of adding a waterfront hotel in Abu Dhabi to its kitty. To enable this, the luxury hotel group has already signed an agreement with Abu Dhabi National Hotels. Named The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal, the luxury property will be housing 447 rooms and suites in addition to 85 villas. The latter will be between 968 and 1,400 square feet in size. These will have open terraces overlooking the scenic Grand Canal area. Guests living in the villas will have access to a personalized butler service as well.

Built like a crescent, the Abu Dhabi property is spread over 54 acres. A gorgeous swimming pool sits outside, providing a magnificent view of this Venice-inspired luxury hotel. There are two poolside bars as well, encouraging guests to unwind by the pool. In addition, the new Ritz-Carlton will include a private beach that faces the Grand Canal, an exclusive Ritz-Carlton Club that offers five complimentary food and drink presentations per day, as well as a rooftop bar and a lobby lounge with a bar.

Other amenities include ESPA – the 21,500-square-foot spa, a fitness center and tennis courts. Foodies can head to any three of the luxury hotel’s restaurants depending on whether they want Italian, Middle Eastern or Asian food. The new Ritz-Carlton is expected to open its doors in late 2011.
