Rare 1963 Aston Martin DB4 GT Soon To Go Under The Hammer In Phoenix

1963 Aston Martin DB4 GT is a very rare alloy-bodied car which is up for sale at the very esteemed RM Auctions’ Automobiles of Arizona event. Let us give you some dope on this luxury car. A vintage beauty, the 1963 DB4 is one of the 75 ever built on the face of the earth. In fact, this little fact makes its estimated worth close to $1 million. Come January 21 and the bidding will begin at the venue, Biltmore Resort and Spa in Phoenix.

This exclusive competition variant of Aston’s extremely famous DB4 was first introduced in the September of 1959 at the London Motor Show. We are told that the car was based on the race winning prototype driven to victory at Silverstone in May 1959 by the much revered Stirling Moss. Quite something to further up the value of the dream roadster.

The car going under the hammer is perhaps the last DB4 GT built and underwent a complete restoration during 1994-95. The interior of the car has been done up in Connolly leather with complementing Wilton wool carpets and handles like a race car. It can do an impressive top speed of 150 mph.
