Photos Taken By Karl Lagerfeld To Be Exhibited at Maison Européenne de la Photographie in Paris

We know that Karl Lagerfeld is an ace designer. But I did not know that he was also a photographer! Well if you want to see hi photography then you should head over to Maison Européenne de la Photographie in Paris. The exhibition will go on from September 10 to October 15 2010. Apparently he really is a serious photographer since he shoots all of the Chanel ad campaigns and has even authored several photographic books, his latest one being The Beauty Of Violence.

This book contains intimate portraits of his muse Baptiste Giabiconi. Another one is called Metamorphoses of an American, and has male model Brad Kroenig at the helm. Karl Lagerfeld also is in charge of 7L, a photography bookshop in Paris situated beneath his photography studio. The bookshop has a range of rare and vintage books, photography tomes and edgy magazines that reflect the designer’s passions.

Ok I think I really need to check out about this famous designer cause my info on him seems pretty sad. But considering that the man has creativity oozing out of him, it is not surprising that he ventured into arts associated with his field. I would definitely love to have a look at what he has captured.
