Airstream is perhaps the most respected name in America when it comes to luxury caravans and travel trailers. They have sustained their position right at the top as the recreational vehicle manufacturer because they have adapted successfully with the changing needs and preferences of the caravan enthusiasts in America. They have now unveiled their latest concept trailer, the ‘Airstream Land Yacht’. It has become the highlight of the National RV Trade Show in Louisville which was launched on November 19th. The show will run through till November 27th. As the name suggests this luxury travel trailer boasts of truly yacht like interiors. This ultimate trailer is the result of an international collaboration between Airstream, the maker of fine cabinetry Technoform S.p.A and the design studio of Officinia Italiana Design.
The Land Yacht Accommodates Five People
The best of material and equipment have been used to create this luxury trailer. High luster teak, white wood inlay boat-deck flooring and LED lighting panels, Corian solid surfaces, and plush Ultraleather give the trailer a luxurious look and feel. Mauro Micheli, who have been the designer of Riva Yachts for long, have partnered with Technoform’s engineering department to give the concept trailer a contemporary look. The trailer is rather large with a length of almost 28 feet. Its cabin unit is very sleek and sophisticated. It has been designed to accommodate up to five people in luxurious comfort. The bedroom is in front and the social and living area is in the rear with a galley that can be hidden when not in use. The midsection has been taken up with the bathroom.
