Steampunk has always managed to stand out in the crowd. Maybe because the folks supporting it are ready to go to great lengths to prove thier love for the art. One of them goes by the name of Amy. Well, she has designed a spectacular Steampunk Monitor Stand.
The inspiration has been drawn from Jake von Slatt of Steampunk Workshop. Amy’s made her little wonder to gift it to her hubby on Christmas last year. All she did was to put an old clock case together with gold coffee beans and a leftover slap of green serpentine marble. The razzmatazz was provided by potentiometers, vaccuum tubes and old computer board parts.
Believe it or not, but a rubber toilet tank float has also found its way to the Steampunk Monitor Stand. No wonder Amy’s hubby was so happy with his gift and all their friends voted it as the ‘coolest gift’ ever. No wonder all Steampunk fans and pro-recycling folks can’t stop appreciating Amy’s creativity. As for us, we won’t be surprised if some big shot company buys the idea and mints money on that.
