Nini Andrade Silva Brings the “Cushy” Back to Furniture

Nini Andrade Silva is a Portuguese interior decorator, and designer of outdoor furniture. The Madeira based architect, is already the owner of an internationally distinguished brand for designing several hotels around the world. The designer is inspired by the nature’s beauty, rolling pebbles of the island, and the memory of young lasses and lads walking bare foot on the pebbles of salt and water covered beaches of Madeira island, to create unique furniture.

The designer has developed a wide range of furniture for outdoors which is elegant and stylish to the enjoy sunny days. Girls of Pebbles is the name given to the collection. She has founded an institution of charity with the same brand name with a cause for the unprivileged poor children to provide the opportunities. A part of the sale profit of the collections would go to the foundation.

The outdoor furniture consists of luminous benches made of aluminium or fibre glass with synthetic rattan coating and a mattress at the base. There are several original designs of furniture such as sun lounger “Love Pebble”, Single Pebble, and modular sofa, chaise lounge pebble, and day bed.  You would not like to go out of the store empty handed without buying at least a single piece in the collection of “Garota do Calhau” or Girls of Pebbles.
