When price is not a limiting factor or budget is not a constraint just imagine how much fun it must be for the super rich to do their Christmas shopping. They can literally let their imagination run wild. And it is time for the marketers to cash in. The Neiman Marcus catalogue has launched its 84th edition of the now famous yuletide book which supplies Christmas gifts to the wealthy.
One of the interesting gifts listed in the catalogue is a mouth watering real life gingerbread house which is six feet high, five feet wide and four feet deep. You can see it in real perspective with the child posing in the house in the photograph above. The house is made of gingerbread, royal icing, lollipops, cookies and gum drops it has been created by New York’s most famous sweetie shop, Dylan’s Candy Bar. With a price of £9,500 the gift is obviously targeted at the super rich.
The 163 page catalogue by Neiman Marcus has many other exclusive and expensive ideas as gifts for the holiday season. For £950,000, the luxury gift claims to install one of Chihuly’s pieces 22 feet by 12 feet at the bottom of a swimming pool, ‘transforming your pool into a world class private work of art’.
