The Most Expensive Field in Britain is a 77Acre Land with Permission of a Grand Mansion

Britain has seen many new records in the field of real estate and that latest one is for the most expensive field in Britain. The parcel of land in question is located deep in the countryside in Surrey. It is a naturally beautiful piece of land with a picturesque lake and formal gardens. More importantly the land comes with the relevant permissions to build a large ten bedroom mansion. The plans for a 33,000 square feet mansion are ready which includes an indoor swimming pool and spa. The field or the parcel of land has come to the market with a staggering price tag of £30 million.

The 77 Acre Plot With Highlighted Boundary

It is estimated that the mansion on the estate will cost £15 million to build but will add a lot more to the value of the estate. The location of the estate is also very convenient as it is only 23 miles away from London. It also boasts of some rich and famous neighbors including the Queen of England and Elton John. Industry experts believe that estate situated near Windsor Great Park may be valued at £100 million once it is complete. It has a lot of potential as an investment opportunity. The real estate markets have regained most of their robustness and the new owner of the estate could possibly earn a profit of £50 million.

Artists Impression of the Planned Mansion

The large plot of land was first bought in 2007 by Candy & Candy who obtained planning permission for a mansion and sold it to the current owners. They have, in turn put it back on the market with joint agents Beauchamp Estates and Grosvenor Billingshurst. Gary Hersham of Beauchamp Estates believes that it is a unique opportunity to acquire a prime Surrey country estate and create a bespoke stately home of outstanding luxury and quality. The Parkwood Estate has the potential to become Surrey’s most outstanding, luxurious and valuable country house estate. No doubt it is the potential that has made the parcel of land the most expensive field in Britain.
