Montblanc’s Brings Out Alligator Leather Briefcases

Montblanc is known for its high end pens. But the German company has also moved into other areas like watches, jewellery, and leather products. Its latest offering is a sleek green alligator leather briefcase with a diamond encrusted leather clasp for that extra luxe factor. This beautiful briefcase is part of their Meisterstück Selection that includes other items such as wallets, iPhone and iPad covers. The briefcase will retail for around $47,510 (£31,000).

One could buy a decent car at that price! So if this bag is a bit out of your budget, you could opt for tablet cover, which is priced at $700, their wallet priced at $280, or their iPhone case priced at $265. The tablet covers have been made of lamb leather and are finished with a clasp of the same premium material. There will be just 50 tablet covers and 100 wallets and iPhone covers in the collection.

This collection has been inspired by Montblanc’s Meisterstuck writing instrument, which was a great success after its release in 1924. These items will be available at Harrod’s new ‘Great Writing Room’, which will also house stationary of brands like Cartier, Smythson and ST Dupont. It will be launched next month on May 13th. You can check out Montblancs other interesting creations like the pen it designed for Monaco’s royal couple  or the limited edition Villeret Vintage Chronographs. Briefcases and bags are an important component of anyone’s overall attire.
