Mark Wahlberg, the star of the movie The Fighter and the executive producer of Entourage is described as a deal making machine in Hollywood by some. The man has moved far from his first public appearance as rapper Marky Mark — the guy who stripped down to his whitey-whites during performances. He has indeed moved on and shown America how young Hollywood rolls. He is planning to move to a bigger home. He is still building a large house and has, in the mean time, listed his home in Beverley Hills.
He had decided to sell the house as early as 2008 and had listed it for $15.9 million. Since the real estate market was tight at the time, Mark failed to get a buyer for the asking price and he had taken the property off the market. This time round Hillel Sanowicz of Keller Williams Realty, Sunset Plaza, and Felix Pena of Hilton & Hyland, Beverly Hills, have co-listed the property at $13.995 Million. They have a successful track record of handling celebrity homes for sale. He is hopeful of finding a buyer soon at this price.
Mark’s new home which is going to be a 33,000 square feet place is under construction. The house he wants to sell now is not a small affair either. It sits on a two acre lot. The house has four bedroom suites. The master suite comes with two bathrooms. The house features a swimming pool, grotto and waterfall, a sports court and a putting green. There is a full size boxing ring on the property within a 2,500 square feet detached gym. Here is hoping that his Midas touch extends to the real estate like his other ventures.
