Luxurious Nieman Marcus Celebrates 100th Anniversary Via Christmas Catalogue

What do you want as your Christmas gift this year? A $1.44-million shiny submarine, $75,000 Swami Conversational Robot, $73,000 flashy diamond-encrusted cellphone or his-and-her portraits painted from chocolate syrup featured in the lately released Christmas Book by Neiman Marcus. Ooops, this doesn’t suffice your lavish desires?

The Christmas book offers much more but you need to hold your breath before I could reveal other outrageous offerings. How about a private concert with Russia’s Kirov Orchestra? Just at $1.59 million, you with your counted 499 friends can enjoy the soft music by pianist Lola Astanova, led by maestro Valery Gergiev, in a show hosted by Regis Philbin.

Swami Conversational Robot

These were the array of gifts offered by luxury retailer Nieman Marcus in its mood to celebrate the occasion of its 100th anniversary. This 81st edition of the Christmas Book was mailed across 1.8 million people from elite class and is easily available online.

The gifts range starts from something as modest as a mug equipped with $20 pretzels, $2.3 million for four hectares in Montana, $35,000 US dragon topiary, which is 30 meters long and equipped with gold-leafed horns, claws, teeth and fins along with $1,590,000 private holiday concert hosted by Regis Philbin featuring the Kirov Orchestra. Folks who love flying on wings can also give some rest to their wallet as the book also features $2 million rocket that can fly on a “racetrack” about 300 metres in the air together with 50 special edition Lexus cars.
