London Design Festival 2012 Features Exclusive International Talent

London is the capital of creativity and is an entrance to the the creative community around the world. The city has been celebrating the London design festival since 2003 to support and nurture the innovations in design excellence. The festival takes place in many places across the capital with the visitors of approximately fifty countries. The Design Festival will project world’s most renowned architects and designers, to experiment with new concepts, materials, and techniques.

Sir Terence Conran says that the festival can be compared to Trianalle of Milan, with the motto to educate designers of different nations and make them understand the worth and pleasure of being in the city. The highlight of the year is that you could witness to the great extent number of vivid things which would be a proof of London, as a hub of creative industries in the world.

Eight contemporary pieces by Fredrikson Stallard, Nendo, BCXSY, Platform, and Satyendra Pakhalé have been purchased by Victoria & Albert,  gives an insight to determining factors.

Eight designers’ work which are contemporary, modern have been selected by the Outset Design Fund. These designs are going to be displayed in the V&A in the design festival of London, become future classics. The collection of creations by designers Fredrikson Stallard , Platform ,Satyendra Pakhalé, BCXSY ,and Nendo.

Fractal Table II designed by Platform, Thin Black Line Series, The Cabbage Chair, and The Cord chair all the three designed by nendo. Satyendra Pakhalé’s Horse stool, screens designed by BCXSY (Boaz Cohen and Sayaka Yamamoto,) Table #1 designed by Fredrikson Stallard, are some art pieces which will be showcased   at the ninth annual festival held from 17–25 September 2011.
