LeMay, America’a Car Museum Hosts Event to Preview Classic Cars

LeMay, America’a Car Museum is scheduled to open its doors for the viewing public in July 2012. It is aggressively pursuing fund raising activities to make it in time for the grand opening. The event scheduled for 24th of this month is a public preview to honor the 1927 La Salle 303 Roadster, the vintage luxury car. The museum will host a Hard Hat & High Heels party. The gala thrown by the fun loving museum will project all the attitude of the museum and more importantly collect the funds to keep on track for the scheduled opening.

LeMay is going to be the most technologically advanced and interactive automotive museum and educational center. The museum, when it becomes operational, aims to showcase the American way of life and the impact that automobiles like cars, motorcycles and trucks have on it. The party on September 24 is going to be its largest fund raiser of the year. The gala event will include a cocktail reception, dinner, entertainment, and live auction. The highlight of the evening will be its host Rob Weller who used to earlier host Entertainment Tonight.

Tickets for the event are being sold now and it is a chance for car enthusiasts to get a first glimpse of the newest exhibition featuring the 1927 LaSalle Roadster. To bring to life the vintage 1927 La Salle, the museum’s Scott Keller simulated an interview with the aging celebrity car that has been named the guest of honor for the Hard Hat & High Heels event. The car was a trendsetter when it was first released and was in production till 1941. The museum will be spread over nine acres of beautiful premises boasting of stunning views of the city, mountains and the water. It is a four-level, 165,000-square-foot facility.
