The Leading Hotels of the World is a galaxy of luxury hotels, consisting of 430 stars spread across 80 countries. Some of its brightest stars include The Ritz London and Paris. Their Leaders Club Rewards program has undergone a few changes. Their paid membership levels for Leaders Club have dropped substantially, but the free membership option is no longer available.
Leaders Club Rewards Membership Levels for Access now is $100/year, which in April 2010 was $300, while the Unlimited membership now costs $1,200/year as compared to April 2010’s $2,000. With the Access membership, members get a one-category room upgrade, a chance to earn complimentary nights at any Leading Hotel, daily complimentary continental breakfast for two, a welcome gift at each Leading Hotel, free internet access, check-in/late check-out considerations, among several other benefits.
The Leaders Club Rewards Unlimited Benefits include guaranteed room upgrade at time of booking, Priority Pass membership for access to over 600 VIP airport lounges, and global concierge service. Having a membership to the Leaders Club is a good thing if you are a frequent traveller as one is able to get benefits from the rebates and facilities that you get through this membership, which you would otherwise have to pay for. You can check out their website for more details.
