Jumbo Hostel Turns a Boeing Flight Into a Hotel

Jumbo Hostel, right next to the Stockholm airport, resumed service after getting revamped and refurbished in 2009 for budget travelers. After it was confined to the Arianda Airport, it has been metamorphosed into globe’s first airliner to be launched as a jumbo hostel and also has been drawing attention of tourists and has become prominent landmark of Swedish airport.

Jumbo Hostel offers a comfortable night’s stay with good sleep for its guests with great features and services. The jumbo hostel is an up market version featuring overnight accommodation and rooms of different categories.  Cockpit Suite which is the rear of pilot control tops the list allowing the guests to sleep. The suite provides two beds which are adjustable, a bathroom having shower, TV with three sixty degree views. Single room having attached private bathrooms of Jumbo are well equipped with wide beds, and are just right for travelers in business , and the “Black box suite” situated far behind the jumbo, features a spacious accommodation enough for small families and comes with a larger space.

With the hostel theme, the airliner has the rooms accommodating four people in a dormitory-style. 1-2-3 rooms are very private to accommodate about three adults who need not share dorms with unknown persons. Jumbo Hostel retains all the features of retired jet without much change. The guests in the upstair lounge has the same experience of being on the original aircraft, Boeing 747. Guests have to book the cockpit suite which would cost $515 for a night and the Dorm bed costs $62 per night.
