The attempts to create the world’s most expensive things are sometimes done just for fun. But this attempt to be the world’s tallest and worlds highest is a very serious business. It is not so simple to outdo the other. The Jin Jiang Hotel in the Shanghai Tower hopes to be the highest hotel in the world.
The new tower along with the hotel is scheduled to be ready in 2014. The proposed hotel is a new brand of Shanghai Jin Jiang International Hotels (Group) Co Ltd. It will occupy the 84th to 110th floors of the Shanghai Tower. The Tower will have 121 floors and a height of 623 meters. The new hotel expects to surpass the which is currently considered the highest hotel in the world.
The proposed hotel will have a total of 258 rooms. The lobby of the hotel will be on the 101st floor. Burj Khalifa which is 828 meters high is the tallest skyscraper in the world. But the hotel in the building, which is the first hotel by fashion designer Giorgio Armani, occupies the lower floors of the tall structure. The race for the highest hotel will go on.
