For a moment I assumed it to be another elegant building, which is static, immortal and lively, but all my doubts and presumptions’ got erased as I explored the beauty of the estate which unveiled to be a toy-train, another creation by Japanese mind. Featured above is the interior of the Omoden (Toy Train), which is the brain child of designer Eiji Mitooka. The idea behind the creation of the train was to produce a child-friendly public transport packed with all the comforts. As a result, the ready-to-go trainis occupied with TVs, capsule toy machines, kitchen(s), and other.
It is complemented by Mitooka, the Ichigo Ec (Strawberry Train) that runs on the same 14.3 km Kishigawa line on daily basis in Japan. This train is also bequeathed with countless toys, TV screens featuring cartoons along with wooden flooring and cots for kids. It seems Japanese are geared up to take this idea of ‘child-friendly public transport’ to next level via these two impressive trains. I am sure by now you must be thinking to schedule your date for a ride on this beautiful installment. Jump further for a virtual experience:
