The countdown to the Royal Wedding has begun and rumors and speculation about the event has become a 24×7 business. Everyone is trying to anticipate what the couple will do and the experts are more than willing to come forward with their opinion. One of the rumors or a confirmed rumor, if one could call that was that Kate Middleton would be spending the night before her wedding at the Goring.
The rumor has been extended now and sources suggest that the couple would be spending the night after their wedding at the Goring and leave for the Honeymoon the next day. This rumor gets its strength from the fact that the Goring is getting a special Royal Suite ready for debuting in April, just in time for the wedding. Russell Sage, one of the most popular designers at the moment is designing the new suite which occupies the entire top floor of the hotel.
The Royal Suite is more like a home with its two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a study, a baby grand piano and Juliet-style balconies. Hopefully the Goring Royal Suite will be more modern than the existing suites in the hotel which look a bit dated. The Silk Suite in the hotel is currently their most expensive accommodation costing £1,525 per night. The Royal Suit will obviously cost much more than that but then cost is not an issue when it comes to the Royal Wedding.
