In a CharityBuzz auction for the benefit of the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights, a week’s internship with Anna Wintour at Vogue was up for grabs. And not surprisingly someone did take this opportunity and the price for the golden opportunity was $42,500. People can also win a meeting with her along with tickets to a fashion show during New York fashion week, a Christian Louboutin gift certificate and status bags from Proenza Schouler and Alexander Wang
There were other enticing bids as well. We know that there is no dearth of Oprah Winfrey fans. The chance to meet her at a taping of her show received a lot of bids that went up to $23,000! A month’s internship for Diane von Furstenberg went under the hammer for $16,000. Meanwhile, the coveted Donatella Versace internship is still to be auctioned.
