Orient Express has introduced a class apart service to help all the art aficionados understand the “train’ of thought of much celebrated artists throughout the world. Orient Express has launched well organized series of art tours in collaboration with London’s National Gallery called ‘Art of Travel’, which will cover up almost all the renowned art capitals of the world.

This tour has been devised to facilitate a sneak peek into the lives of the world’s legendary artists’ lives and their muse to the commoners, this tour will also help an aficionado understand the inspiration behind the painting that graces his wall. It will focus on the lives of Canaletto, Titian, Bellini, Monet, Turner, Rubens, Constable and many more, a National Gallery expert will keep you updated with all the trivial information that you would want to know about your favorite artist.

The tour will start from London’s Goring Hotel, where all the art aficionados will be briefed on selected magnum opuses. This seven-day tour of Grand Canal, Venice will start on April 9, 2011 and will cost a modest amount of £4,985 (US $8,000) per person. On the other hand, there are other cheaper options available as well, like the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, which offers a five day tour and ‘Collectors and Collecting’ tour which will start on June 28,2011.
