Hair Tattoos: The New Solution For Baldness

Losing hair? Balding? Can’t afford a £25,000 hair transplant? Well, you need not lose sleep over your hair loss anymore. All you need to do is save about £2,000, head over to HIS (Hair-Ink-Skin) Hair and get new hair tattooed on. Yes, you read that right. Hair tattoos are the new rage ever since HIS Hair opened for business. Over the last one year, this unique salon has seen a 20 percent rise in bookings.

Moreover, this hair salon-cum-tattoo parlor has the blessings of celebrity hairdresser Adee Phalan. HIS Hair uses a breakthrough procedure called MHT (micro hair technique) scalp pigmentation. The final result resembles a super-short crop, what we call buzz hair. Most people can hardly tell the difference between natural buzz hair and these hair tattoos.

Phalan himself began losing hair at the age of 24. The man who is hairstylist to the likes of David Beckham and the England Football Team supports the project completely. He recently opened HIS Hair’s new clinic in Manchester. However, he is not the brain behind this hair-raising idea.

The technique and HIS Hair was developed by a man named Ian Watson, who developed alopecia in his 20s, soon after his 32-year-old brother died of cancer. Seeing no other way out, Ian asked his brother’s widow, Ranbir, to use the finest pen she could find to draw dots on his head, so that it resembled a buzz cut. Soon enough, Ian and Ranbir became aware that they had hit upon a winning business idea.

The duo worked with hair loss experts and semi-permanent makeup artists to develop and perfect the MHT procedure. Originally based in Birmingham, HIS Hair is now opening clinics across Europe and America.
