GLAZA Offers You Opportunity to Enjoy Giving Back to the Community

There are many people who are fascinated by animals. They not only love them but admire them. They can spend hours in a zoo watching the animals in their artificial habitat. The Greater Los Angeles Zoo Association, GLAZA, has created a Safari Club that gives the opportunity to people like me and you to actually contribute towards the well-being of the animals and help grow the oasis of animal & plant life. You may get a sense of giving back to the community by participating in GLAZA’s conservation and breeding programs for endangered species.

There are various programmes in the Zoo that look forward for your donation and in return entitle you to some behind-the-scene perks from the zoo. There are various ‘circles” of the zoo’s association that you can become part of. For example a donation of $1,500 gives you the membership of Australian Outback Circle and entitles you to scavenger hunts in the zoo, behind-the –scene parties and Zoo Director’s private gatherings with wildlife experts.

Membership of South American Wildlands Circle at $3,000 gets you a private animal encounter, Indonesian Rain Forest Circle at $10,000 offers you the use of Zoo Mobile  to visit your favourite school or senior centre. For a donation of $50,000 you get the opportunity to name the animals in the zoo.

There are options available to contribute to capital projects. The fact that these contributions are tax deductible, make it more enjoyable.
