Get On Board Zambezi Queen, Cruise Down Chobe National Park

Africa must be one of the most exotic travel destinations in the world. What makes it really exotic is the wilderness that the continent is associated with. The Zambezi Queen is an opulent and 150 foot long river boat that is being touted as a 5 star boutique hotel that floats. It allows you to cruise down the river Chobe in Botswana and you could catch a glimpse of animals like elephants, waterbuck, giraffes, zebras, impalas, wildebeests, kudus, warthogs and giraffes.

The river runs through the Chobe National Park and the boat is quite eco-friendly and comes with solar heated water, jet propulsion. If you feel hot, you would need to fan yourself as it does not have any air-conditioning.

There are 14 suites and each of them comes with private balconies, and mosquito netting. The Zambezi Queen also has a bar, a reading room and a plunge pool. At $800 to $3,600, it could prove to be a really expensive cruise down an African river. However, the experience is worth spending that money for such experiences come to you only once in a lifetime.
