Barrere is a well-known corset designer, whose creations have earned him collaborations with big fashion houses like Dior, Chanel and Dolce & Gabbana. Barrere’s designs have been showcased around the world, and they won him the Grand Prix de la Mode de la Ville de Paris. The designer is also the artistic director at Hurel and the 2008 president of the prestigious Paris Fashion Group. Certainly, he has the qualifications to tell the corset’s tale.
